Interplay's Black Isle Studios division is one of the best things ever to happen to computer role-playing games. Many of the best RPGs from the last five or six years have been Black Isle games: Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, and Icewind Dale are all part of this brand. Considering that amazing track record, it's easy to get excited about Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader, Black Isle's latest RPG. Unfortunately, while it does bear some similarities to earlier games from Black Isle, it's generally just not as good. It's primarily a hack-and-slash game but the combat tends to be unsatisfying
the production values seem dated, the difficulty is uneven and sometimes excessive, and the original alternate-history setting isn't enough to compensate. Even so, the game has some merits, and it can be entertaining for Black Isle fans who don't go in expecting too much.

Lionheart isn't the first RPG to feature an alternate-history setting, but it still deserves credit for trying to do something different. According to the game's fiction, Richard the Lionheart's 12th-century Crusades resulted in a cataclysmic supernatural event called the disjunction, sort of a Pandora's-box-opening style of event that unleashed all sorts of magic and evil into the world. The game takes place in the 16th century in the wake of the disjunction, but despite the unusual setting and the presence of some historical figures such as Leonardo da Vinci, William Shakespeare, and Nostradamus, Lionheart basically tells your average RPG story, in which your character is a reluctant hero destined to thwart a great evil.

Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (U)

Tony Hawk's American Sk8land, often referred to as Tony Hawk's Underground 3, is the first entry in the Tony Hawk's series of video games for the Nintendo DS, and the sixth Tony Hawk video game for the Game Boy Advance.

American Sk8land uses cel shaded visuals and it was developed by Vicarious Visions, the developer of the Game Boy Advance Tony Hawk games. It is also loosely based on its console counterpart, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. It was released on November 15, 2005 in North America.

The top screen is used to display the main gameplay, while the touch screen displays an overhead map of the area the player is currently skating, as well as icons for easily performing tricks. The touch screen is also used to create Skateboard art. Furthering the use of the DS's functions is the ability to record, with the DS microphone, your own sound clips for use in the game.

Combat of Giants: Mutant Insects(NDS)

Combat of giants dragons(battle of giants) takes place in the fictional land of tammabuku. The story begins with a description of how the humans and dragons waged war and to escape this war the good and evil(samarkand) dragons create there own world ,Tammabuku, with the help of the king of dragons. Then the samarkand dragons betray the king of dragons and steal the gems that fuel his power. The actual playable story line begins when you are told by the dragon king that you are the last of the good, kind dragons and that it is your duty to retrieve the gems and let the light flow back into tammabuku. you are then allowed to embody the spirit of a certain elemental dragon. this will give you a completely new body which you may control You may choose only from fire or ice to begin with but are later given the option to choose between earth and air. once you have decided upon your elemental type you can adventure through the four elemental worlds of tammabuku to retrieve a multitude of gems on average two per level for four levels per world. you then repeat the worlds as different elemental dragons and go on different missions per level.

Alice In Wonderland (NDS)

Alice in Wonderland is an action adventure video game released in 2010. Disney Interactive Studios announced on July 23, 2009, that a video game based on the film would be released in the same week as the film for the Wii, Nintendo DS and Windows PC, with the soundtrack being composed by veteran video game music composer Richard Jacques. The Wii, DS, and PC versions were released on March 2, 2010.

GameZone's Michael Lafferty gave the Wii version of the game a 7.6 rating out of 10, saying, "Graphically this game scores well, and though the overall gameplay is nothing that has not been experienced before, the game still has a nice rhythm to it. It is what it is – a game adaptation of a movie, slightly offbeat, but accessible.
